Live bait
Do you sell live bait?+
Yes — fresh worms, seasonal minnows, leeches and roe. Live bait is in-store pickup only so we can guarantee quality, freshness and proper care.
Can I order live bait online?+
No — live bait can't be shipped or ordered for delivery. Browse what we carry online, then pick your bait up at the counter. Call ahead and we'll set it aside.
What's the best bait to use?+
It depends on the species and conditions. Worms are hard to beat for bass, trout, panfish and beginners; minnows work well for perch, pike, walleye and crappie. Not sure? Ask us.
Are there restrictions on using live bait?+
Some waters restrict live bait to prevent the spread of invasive species. Always check the local regulations for the water you're fishing.
